This is the inside of the birthday purse. I would like to claim the lining (it's gorgeous in person!), but I'm not that talented. Another friend at work did it for me and she did a lovely job.
This purse was given to a co-worker for her 40th birthday. I used Knit Picks wool and as it was my first felting project ever, I was very satisfied with the result. I'm anxious to make another one.
Red Scarf Project 2007
I used Cascade 220 and did a simple K2, P2 rib on one side and knit on the other.
Felted Bowl from the One Skein book.
Yarn used: Lamb's Pride Bulky on size 15s.
It took only a few hours to make and the felting process didn't take long either.
This baby Cardigan was made using the Easy Baby Cardigan pattern, which can be found here: http://www.knittingpureandsimple.com/babycardi.html
I used Plymouth Encore DK on size 7 needles. It took approximately 2 and 1/2 skeins.
Oz Vest from Natural Knits for Babies and Moms
Needles: Sizes 5 and 6
Yarn: Lion Brand Cotton Ease in Almond
This little Kitty came from Natural Knits for Babies and Moms. Very simple. I'm anxious to make another.
I used Peaches-N-Cream cotton yarn. The button as shown there is not functional, it's just for looks. I sewed a snap on the inside instead. This is for a little boy, so I didn't do the ribbon thing.
I used the new “Vanna’s Favorite” Lion-Brand acrylic yarn for this bunny. It’s worsted weight. I don’t know that I would use it again, but I do like the way this little bunny turned out.
The dress is made from a sport weight mercerized cotton that I found on clearance at the Hobby Lobby.
She stands about 7½ to 8 inches tall. I bought the pattern from www.fuzzymitten.com. It was written very well ~ go check out her patterns!
The pattern for these mittens came from one of those Leisure Arts books. I used Patons Chunky wool with 7 needles (I think). The thumbs are a little wonky, but otherwise they are fine.
I used a pattern from Yvonneknits.com - http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=88596
She knit up very quickly. The pattern also gives you instructiosn to make a darling little pair of underwear. I didn't take a picture, however. It just seemed wrong!
I used Hobby Lobby's "I Love This Yarn" which actually worked pretty well for this project. It was inexpensive and knitted up very well.
This little gal was knit from the Safari Friends pattern from Knitting at Knoon. All on dpns.
I used Patons Classic Merino wool and size 7 dpns. I used the basic mitten pattern from the Knitting for Peace book.
These are very fun and very quick to knit. The pattern is the SnoBuddies pattern from Knitting at Knoon: http://www.knittingatknoon.com/
Yarn: Peruvia by Berrocco.
Size 6 dpns.
